Man Faces Criminal Charges in Miami After Allegedly Paying Teen Neighbor for Sex in Money and Drugs

CrimeCharge

A Miami Beach man is currently facing serious criminal charges after he allegedly paid his 15-year-old female neighbor for sex, in both money and drugs. According to local news reports, 29-year-old Christian Gonzalez-Lopez was arrested during Memorial Day Weekend, on Saturday, May 24. Reports indicate that the alleged sex-for-money-and-drugs scheme was discovered by the young girl’s mother, who found “messages referencing drug use” on the teen’s laptop. The teen then was reported to have told Miami Police that “she’d been walking in her neighborhood a few months ago when Gonzalez-Lopez approached her and asked for her Instagram and they started exchanging messages.” Gonzalez-Lopez is alleged to have sent the teen various pictures of lingerie, and offered to pay her to pose in it. He also is alleged to have agreed to supply the young teen girl with Tusi, a street drug also known as pink cocaine. In exchange for the drugs, the young girl was to pay the Gonzalez-Lopez in sexual acts. The amount that Gonzalez-Lopez allegedly paid for the sexual acts was $100, though he is believed by police to have also paid her in drugs at times. The young teen also told police that she believed he had recorded her on one occasion, “because she noticed a cell phone in his hand.”

In the course of the investigation, reports reveal that investigators searched the teen’s cell phone and found conversations between her and Gonzalez-Lopez. The messages were reported to have included conversations involving negotiating the price of a threesome. Gonzalez-Lopez was ultimately arrested and charged with a litany of criminal charges under Miami criminal laws, including human trafficking, using a computer to seduce or lure a child, lewd and lascivious battery on a child, delivering a controlled substance to a child, and contributing to the delinquency of a child. The case is ongoing and it remains to be seen if there will be a conviction on any of the charges that Gonzalez-Lopez faces.
